The Montana EBT Access Card for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), is a debit-like card issued to eligible applicants for the purchase of food. Households who meet the gross and net income standards for the program may receive SNAP benefits on their Montana EBT Access Card a monthly basis.
To use the card, cardholders simply swipe it through a point-of-sale device and enter a personal identification number (PIN) to authorize the transaction. Below, we outline the different ways you can check the balance on your Montana EBT Access Card.

Here are the three ways you can check the balance on your Montana EBT Card:
Option 1 – Find Your Last Receipt:
One way to check the balance on your Montana EBT Access Card is by finding your last transaction receipt. Your receipt will have the remaining balance on your EBT Card at the bottom, so it is important to save these for quick access to your balance.
Option 2 – Call the Montana Access Card Staff:

When contacting the Cardholder Help Desk, have your Access Card number and PIN ready. The attendant will ask for this information in order to retrieve your balance. You will be provided with your balance as soon as you provide the attendant with your information.
Option 3 – Go to the Montana Access Card Website:
The last option available for checking the balance on your Montana EBT Access Card is by logging on to the Montana EBT Card website. When you go to the site, please enter your Username and Password to log into your account. Once logged in, you’ll be able to view your current Montana Access Card balance, as well as recent transactions.
