How to Check Virginia EBT Card Balance

Option 1 – Check by Phone
The first option for checking your Virginia EBT card balance is by phone. If you want to check your EBT balance by phone, you need to contact the Virginia Department of Social Services. The Virginia DSS toll-free customer service phone number is listed below.

When you call, please have your EBT card number and your 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) ready. You must provide the customer service agent with this information in order to retrieve your EBT card balance. If you are unable to check your EBT balance via phone, check out our second option below.
Option 2 – Check Online with EBT Edge
The second option for checking your Virginia EBT card balance is online by logging into your Connect EBT account. If you do not have a Connect EBT account, you can sign up for one by using the Create User Account link below the login. A Connect EBT account will allow you to retrieve your Virginia EBT Card Balance quickly in the future.
To check your balance online, visit the Virginia Connect EBT account page here. Enter your User ID and Password, then click the Login button. Once logged in, you’ll be able to view your current balance, as well as recent transactions.
Option 2 – Check your Last Receipt
