How to Check Texas EBT Card Balance

There are two options for obtaining the balance on your Loan Star EBT Card in Texas. We’ve listed both available options for you below. If you have any questions about how to check your Texas EBT Card Balance, please leave those in the comments section below.

Option 1 – Check your Last Receipt
The first option for checking your Texas Loan Star EBT card balance is to check your last receipt. This is the easiest and quickest way to find your current EBT balance. Your balance will be listed at the bottom of the receipt. In order to use this balance check method, please keep your latest EBT receipt that you receive from the grocery store.

Option 2 – Check by Phone
The second option for checking your Texas Loan Star EBT card balance is by phone. If you want to check your EBT balance by phone, you need to contact the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. The Texas DHHS customer service phone number is listed below:
