Are you trying to find the current balance on your Oregon EBT Card? In today’s post we will outline all available options for retrieving your current Oregon EBT card balance. The Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) is responsible for administering the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as the Food Stamp Program. SNAP helps low-income households obtain a healthy diet by increasing their purchasing power at grocery stores through food assistance benefits. Benefits are distributed every month to Oregon SNAP recipients via a plastic EBT card.

The Oregon EBT Card, also known as the Oregon Trail Card is a debit-like card that can be used at eligible grocery stores to redeem food stamp benefits. Benefits distributed to a food stamp recipient’s EBT Card can be used to purchase approved food items. The items that are eligible to be purchased with your food stamp benefits is determined by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). For a full list of approved food items, please refer the to USDA Eligible Food List here.
