Delaware Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is a system responsible for the electronic distribution of benefits for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP is a food supplemental program that enables low-income families to buy a variety of food that is the basis for better nutrition. Benefits are issued electronically to the family’s Delaware Benefit Security card each month (EBT card). The recipient can use their card at eligible local grocery stores to access food benefits.
