Here is great news for all EBT Card holders. Amazon.com, the retail giant that also sells groceries online is entering the food stamps market by allowing EBT Card Holders to buy groceries online and have them delivered right to their doorsteps, by offering them Amazon Prime at a discount. If you are not familiar with the great benefits of having Amazon Prime EBT, here is what it’s all about:

Benefits of Amazon Prime

Super Speedy Shipping

The best known benefit of having Amazon prime is the Free 2-day shipping. Products that qualify for the free 2-day shipping will have the Amazon Prime designation next to them, and you will see this designation once you are logged in as a Prime member. In addition, if you need your items even faster, you can get free 2-hour delivery with Prime Now. The service only offers a limited selection of items — which vary depending on your location — but covers the gamut of what you’d find in a typical big box store. The highlight of Prime Now is perishables: These speedy deliveries mean you can order things like milk and eggs, which is why having Amazon Prime as an EBT Card holder is going to be so important because you can order groceries and depending on where you live, you can have them delivered to you in hours.

Prime Now and same-day delivery (orders delivered by 9pm that evening) are only available in 29 metropolitan areas in the US but Amazon is working to add them to more locations and knowing how Amazon.com has operated in the past, it is our expectation that Amazon prime Now will be released nationwide.

Other Amazon Prime Benefits

But there is more to Amazon Prime than super fast shipping of stuff, including groceries. You can get the following other benefits, including streaming FREE streaming of TV Shows, Movies and Music and access to Audio Books.
